At Cal Rehab Foundation, we are honored to support incredible individuals like Prisca on their journey to independence.
Prisca sustained a complete high thoracic spinal cord injury from a fall.. She now requires assistance for all daily activities and mobility, using a power wheelchair and caregiver support. Despite these challenges, she remains determined to regain strength and independence. Through our Enabling Independance Grants program, we were able to provide her a new EasyStand standing frame.
“This foundation has given me hope in humanity. Before my injury, I didn’t know there were people out there helping others in such wonderful ways. I will use this equipment to the best of my ability to get healthier and stronger. Thank you so much!”
